Big Daddy's Convenience: Your Go-To Spot for Comfort Food in Dallas

First time thanks to IG or TikTok (can’t remember) but it was worth the drive. Asked a couple of my friends and they gave it 2 . I was pleasantly surprised. The outside blends with some of the other business, needing some up dates. But once I got in it didn’t matter. It was really organized the convention store items in the front and the kitchen in the back. I really like the fact it looked clean and you could tell ALL HANDS ON DECK. Got the lg. ckn salad and a 4 wing basket. Needless to say I have lunch and dinner. I felt The portion size matched the price. I will be back to try something else. Big Daddy’s in now in the rotation. The video I saw said something about ask for the bones. They wrapped them and put them in a separate bag. Those were gone by the time we made it home.

Chicken salad is the bomb. If you can call in your order do it, but if not the waits not too bad. The large is enough for 2 people easy, just ask for extra ranch.

5.99 for a LOT of chicken. They fill it all the way up. this is enough to feed 2 people, the small. And they give extras. That being said, it’s alright. Very cheap tho so +1 for that

Any time I come back to visit Dallas Mr Green and the entire staff remember me from when I lived in Dallas 10+ years ago going there early morning for breakfast before work. If you a big back skinny back any kinda back this is the joint you definitely want to hit when you go. Clean delicious fresh and seasoned to perfection food with the complete southern hospitality you miss living on the West Coast. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Best experience! I went in not knowing anything about this place or how to order. The customers in line were polite, every staff member I came in contact with was nice too! Regardless to the crowds they handled business and did it with a smile! Now the actual food… do I even need to comment on how good it was?! I’ll be back again &again!

Everytime I go here everything I order is fresh, hot and delicious. You ladies and gentlemen are outstanding. Next time I order a burger I want it to have 12 more patties on it i will it pay it because you did soon good on making this Dinosaur happy with his food he gets from you that my friend Joe always picks up for me. I give this a 7 million stars out of 5 stars, because I am a dinosaur and some dinisaurs cannot count past 4 (lol those t-rexes only counts to four but im a dinosaur who can count higher than 4, ha beat that count, my old cousin called the T-rex whose bones are in the musuem of History by now ) The wait time is fine when its a bit long because I understand if your busy I know that feeling of when lunch rushes hit. But everytime my friend brings the food its outstanding

We went today off the strength of a video. Lol we traveled literally across town. The store is a little small and parking is almost non existent. We ordered 2 cheeseburger baskets, a small chicken salad and the 4 piece fish. The burgers were really good. The fries were a little too salty towards the end but I'll gladly get them again!!! The chicken salad was amazing. I ate it hours later and it was still awesome. Plus they gave me the rest of the chicken from my salad. I'll be ordering the chicken next time. I appreciate the lady at the counter correcting me when we ordered the fish. I asked for the catfish basket and she let me know it was Swai. Most folks would've let me think it was catfish and charged me the extra price. It didnt matter because it was still good. I'll gladly make the trip again to try the rest of the menu.

Finally found some GOOD chicken in DFW! The place is small, clean and everything I had was HOT, FRESH and GOOD! Got there expecting to wait, but wasn't long at all. Waaaaaaay better than Mike's, Hall's and Henderson... no attitudes, everyone was nice and friendly, seemless customer service! to be honest, I've been looking for a nice chicken spot in Dallas for years and I've finally found it! No fighting with the bone for the meat, comes right off! and taste like REAL CHICKEN fresh out the grease :)
